What This Is All About

Hi there, welcome to the Ilox family! This is our friendly, no-fuss agreement between you and the Ilox team, laying out how we’ll work together to make your recycling habit building as smooth as possible. No fancy jargon, no hidden fine print—just clear promises for both sides.

Good news first: you never need to sign up for an account, share your personal info, or pay any fees to use every single feature of Ilox. All your data stays right on your device, we never see it unless you choose to share it with us voluntarily.

All The Cool Stuff You Get To Do

Ilox is built 100% for your recycling sorting needs, and you have full access to all features right off the bat:

Snap or import photos of your sorted waste, tag items with our built-in categories or make your own custom labels that fit your local recycling rules
Keep an unlimited visual log of all your recycling efforts, stored 100% locally on your device
Filter your history by tags, edit or delete records whenever you want
Track your progress on the monthly calendar, dig into category stats with custom time filters
Set up as many local collection reminders as you need, no internet required for those notifications to work

Our Promises To You

We take our role as your recycling companion super seriously, so here’s what you can always expect from us:

We will never access, upload, or share any of your local stored photos, tags, or recycling logs. All your data stays yours, on your device, full stop.
No random pop-up ads will interrupt you while you’re sorting waste or checking your progress. We hate those too.
All future feature updates will be focused on making your recycling routine easier, not on locking features behind paywalls or account requirements.
If you run into bugs, have feature ideas, or just want to say hi, we’ll respond to your message as fast as we can (usually within 2 working days).

Quick Friendly Reminders

A few small things to keep in mind to make your Ilox experience as good as possible:

Backup your data regularly! Since all your records are stored locally on your device, if you delete the app, break your phone, or switch to a new device, we can’t recover your logs for you. We recommend exporting your records every few months if you want to keep long-term track.

Our built-in sorting categories are general references only. Always follow your local waste management authority’s specific sorting rules for what goes in each bin in your area.
Collection reminders run on your device’s local notification system. If you turn off notification permissions for Ilox, you won’t get the reminders, so double check those settings if you rely on them.
Please don’t use Ilox to store any content that violates your local community guidelines, even though we can’t see it—keep your device storage safe and appropriate for you.

Updates To This Agreement

We might tweak this agreement every now and then as we add new features or adjust how Ilox works. If we make changes, we’ll post the updated version in the Settings tab of the app 7 days before it takes effect, so you have plenty of time to review it. If you’re okay with the changes, just keep using Ilox as normal. If you don’t agree, you can uninstall the app anytime with zero hassle.
